Is this normal for a guy my age??

Hey!
I'm new to the forums so go easy on me.
I'm 16 and I'm what some people call a "loner".
I've always been a guy who never had too many friends. To be honest I only have (had) like 2-5 people to be pretty close too and only 1 of them knows (knew) me very well.
Some random people have called me cute and I have no idea what they're talking about. I've never had a girlfriend. Well forget about girlfriend I've never even had a so called best friend. I find it hard to trust people.
I don't think its just a phase because I've been like this for a very very very long time and is the sole reason I didn't post this thread in the Mental crisis section.
Do you guys think I'm normal?? A random girl I met on the internet said this had something to do with my sign stuffs. Is this true? If yes, I'm a scorpio.
I need you guys to help me out.

As far as your social situation goes you are far from being the only one around here.
You are normal for you. And no it has nothing to do with your sign.

Don't worry about it, I'm almost exactly the same, the only real difference being the sign (I'm Gemini or Cancer, depending on what you look at), but that doesn't affect anything like that anyway. In fact, I prefer it this way, there's nobody to let you down or vice versa, and I work better alone.

Don't get obsessed with that... just act as you are and you'll find the appropiate people for you. It might take some time but everything will come.
And don't use the internet too much to talk with people and meet friends there... it can help, but also it can be the source of problems.

I can relate to all you've said, and the fact is that probably you'll meet someone you can call "friend" soon enough, just be patient and, most importantly, be yourself. If you already had good friends, you can get some more in the future. Just try to talk to people occasionally, people with the same interests and stuff. And no, I don't think signs are related to that.

The "cute" comment is used with no real meaning, probably means they like you,. Try to get involved in some activities - in/out of school. Try to pick something that you are comfortable doing so that you will learn quickly and not feel like a third wheel. That is what I did , wasn't all roses but helped my self respect a lot.

Who cares if you're a loner? Do you prefer being alone? If so, then you're an introvert. If not, maybe you're shy?? I'm not sure. But the sign has nothing to do with it.
