I have some questions, and I've searched online but I can't find what I'm looking for.
1) If I change my @mention thing on twitter, will it notify my followers who have alerts set on their accounts for my tweets?
2) Is there a way to disable people from getting alerts for my tweets if I don't want them to?
3) Can I make it to where only certain ones of my followers can see my tweets?
My parents follow my account and they are being stalkerish and I'm sick of it. I'll be 18 in a few months. They have alerts set so that when I tweet their phone alerts them and a lot of times it starts arguments from what I said. I want to change my @mention to something pertaining to my boyfriend, but I don't want it to alert them, I just want them to eventually come across it... get my vibe?
