How fast is too fast?

So I've never actually been in a relationship before or anything but a couple of days ago I was talking to my friend about it and she was talking about her past boyfriends and how fast they did things with her.
You see, the thing is is that I think that I'm the person which would like to take things slower than most? Like, making out would have to be after a month or so and spooning and touching like that would be after a long time... I'm not sure, but pretty much I just wanna know...

2. In past relationships, did you have think you were going too fast/slow and what did you do?

There's nothing wrong with wanting to go slower than most people as far as relationships are concerned, as it can avoid problems and further complications between you and your partner. I've never been in a relationship as well, but I've noticed, for example, that a girl from my class, in middle school, had a boyfriend who was way too fast for her, and she wasn't really enjoying it. She talked to him about it, and understood and the relationship kept going until they had to broke up because they were going to different schools and things weren't going to work out that way. So, basically, what matters is that you and your partner respect each other, regardless of how fast both of you want the relationship to evolve.

1. How fast (In your opinion) is too fast? When you put your FB status just into a relationship for the first time and you're talking about how they are the one.

2. In past relationships, did you have think you were going too fast/slow and what did you do? My first relationship was pretty fast actually, I started dating him three days after we met, three weeks later we had our first kiss, and like a month later we broke up. On my relationship I'm in now, we've been together off and on for over a year, and we still haven't had our first kiss yet. So that's been a pretty slow process.
