sleeping naked - what to do?!

I really want to start sleeping naked but there is a problem I share a room with my mother although we have seperate beds I don't want her to see me. What should I do?

If I was in your situation I would probably put that on hold until getting your own room. It will be uncomfortable for both of you.

If your mom wouldn't be comfortable with it, you should wait until you have your own private room. It's not fair to make her uncomfortable just so you can shed your boxers when you sleep.

If you really want to do it, you should talk to her first and see if she's OK with it.

I think that you shouldn't sleep naked at all if you share the room with your mum. It could be awkward. There is the off chance that your covers could fly off you at an unfortunate time of night, and your mother could see what she's not supposed to see. Also, would it be uncomfortable for you and your mother? I'd definitely wait until you have a separate room. Then you could have more privacy, and then sleep naked.

I don't think you should consider it for now. Both of you may end up feeling awkward and uncomfortable if you start sleeping naked. Why not wear loose cotton boxers? They are cool to wear and have plenty of room for ... ummm.. stuff to expand while you're asleep!

Maybe discuss (you getting your own room) with her.. or wear your clothes to bed then take them off under the covers and keep your clothes close to you for quick access.

Jump in your bed before your mom get in your bedroom.

It depends on the kind of family you live with. I mean, there are families where it's normal to walk around naked. But if you're asking that I suppose is because you and your mom don't see each other naked.

I think you could try if you really really want, finally it's just human body, nothing to be ashamed of. But if she doesn't want, you'd respect that.

I think you should think about this.... Would you be comfortable with her sleeping naked? Then if you would would you feel comfortable with you and her both sleeping naked? She has already seen you naked, so it's not like something she hasn't seen, but it would prob make you and her both not so comfortable....

Unless she is open to that kind of stuff, i don't think there is anything you can do about it... :( It would be different if it was another kid or sibling. :)

I just would wear some boxers or something... baked could be awkward
