Metabolism is the rate at which the body digests food and nutrients so the higher the metabolism you have the, faster the nutrients needed for growth can reach the bone and help with growth. Therefore, generally the higher the metabolism the higher the growth rate due to the fact you're consuming more nutrients although it's dependent on what nutrients.

Metabolism doesn't really effect muscle and bone growth, however since it manages how fast you digest food, a slower or faster metabolism can mean higher or lower fat growth rates. :)

Im glad you asked this question :) While im not sure of the particlar ins-and-out, I know that I have a bad metabolic condition and my growth speed is effected by it, maybe not directly, but I know that the two are linked in my case at least.

It can. It depends I'm if you have a fast metabolism or not. I'm guessing if you have a fast one you can eat all the food you want and still take the nutrients. However I do not know for sure.
