Hey guys I need some advice for my situation...I was on the app Chatous, it's a bit like omegle, and I met a girl who I really liked and we have been talking over kik for a few months now...K so we swapped pics (they were clean) and so far all the pictures she has sent have matched her Instagram so I'm wondering if she has just been imposing as somebody else or what...also I asked her what she was doing for Xmas and she said she was going to South Carolina but on her Instagram she says she is in Hawaii...if anybody could give me some useful insight that would be fantastic, thanks so much!

There's a few things you can do in this position to see if she's legit or not.

-Ask to Skype with her. This is probably the best option because it'll be one on one, real time.

-Ask for her number to call her. You still can't really prove who she is doing this, because it's just a voice on the other end, but at least you'll be getting to know if you're actually talking to a girl and not some creepy old guy.

-There's an option on kik for her to get a picture from her gallery to send you, and an option for her to take a picture right then and there with her camera. Try to get her to use the camera option to prove her identity.


These are all just suggestions. I don't know if you're serious or not but either way I would recommend you do at least one of them. Have you ever seen the movie "Catfish"? Or the tv show based off the movie? There are some serious internet creeps out there, and I'm not saying she's definitely one, but you can never be too careful.
