What did you all think? Anyone else cry like a baby at that last scene? I really just didn't like the episode. I didn't think it was a proper send off for Matt. Definitely not the best episode I've ever seen. However, I think I'm going to love Peter Capaldi's chapter, he nailed his brief introduction I think.

See I've never been the biggest fan of Matt Smith as the Doctor, being honest. I'm kind of glad he's gone, he annoys me with the childishness and eccentricity. While it's appealing to a younger age group, it didn't appeal to me. That being said, I enjoyed the episode, I thought it was a decent enough send-off for Eleven. I think I'm going to like Peter Capaldi, I've a feeling he's going to be a bit like Christopher Eccleston's Doctor, which was always my favourite.

Yeah, I think Peter will be a bit more serious with the role than David and Matt were. But, I've loved them all. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite. I don't know, regardless of liking Matt, I just didn't think the episode was very good, aside from the ending. It was kind of jumbled and confusing, and there was very little action.

He wasn't my favourite doctor but I didn't think he got a proper send off. I was kind of annoyed with how quick his regeneration was I was hoping it would be more dramatic :P I think Peter Capaldi will be a better doctor than Matt.

I thought the episode as so wasn't all that great, but in the end it did have some redeeming qualities (dat cameo) and this episode combined with Day of the Doctor does give an honorable goodbye to Matt Smith.

The episode was ok, but not great. I like Capaldi already, though. ;)

I didnt like the episode, and i was getting very worried that Smith's Swansong would be that god-awful cheese-sequence where he blew up the Dalek Saucers with Reg-Energy.......but when he appeared in the Tardis with Fish Custard, and little Amelia, All was forgiven.....add the shedding of the Bowtie and "Raggedy Man, Goodnight" and you have all the ingredients for a hot steamy batch of Alex Tear Soup. I cried in front of my Bro in law, and Im not ashamed. Smith has now joined Eccleston, McGann and Troughton as my favourite Doctor.....

Me and my best friend were watching it together, and we were bawling like babies by the time Amy appeared. But, when we saw the actual face changing regeneration, our tears literally halted and we just kind of looked at each other like "wtf?" I mean, yeah, combined with other episodes, it could be a good send off, but I thought the actual change was so anti-climatic it was just hard to dismiss as good enough.

Yeah, I'll probably like Capaldi, but Matt Smith is my favorite and will be my favorite forever (but that could be because I was a fan before he was the Doctor).

Thought the episode was awful. Only two good bits were Handles dying (which was sad) and the regeneration. A POOR send-off for Matt Smith and a POOR resolution to the Trenzalore storyline.

Also, I can already tell that PC is going to be an Amazing Doctor....I'm hoping to see a flash of Pertwee or McCoy in his performance.....And to anyone who is using that stupid fangirl "He's too OLD!!!" Argument, I say that actually, for a 1200-odd year old, he's looking rather good for it
