Would it be safe for another guy to have unprotected sex with another guy if they were both virgins? I strictly ask this question for safety reasons not curiosity

It's always better to be protected even if you are virgins. There is always some tearing and exchange of bodily fluids.

If neither of you have STDs (which is almost certainly the case since in this hypothetical you are both virgins) sure it's 'safe', but from an outsider's viewpoint (and certainly not from experience) I think it's better to foster good habits on both sides and wear a condom.

Regardless of which intercourse, protection is always a good thing. Especially for virgins because you want it to be fine for the first time and not "get anything". And by the way, gay sex can get a little messy if not prepared right so, yeah. I hope this helps.

If both of you are actually virgins, then it would be safe. You can't get an STI from someone how doesn't have one. The problem is, you can't be sure if someone is a virgin. They may say that are, but that could be lying. It is safer to always use a condom.

I tend to agree with Will. The only way to get an STD is by having sex. The only way to get HIV is thru sex. Other minor infections are rare and can easily be eliminated. If you've known each other for some time and you each trust the other when they say they're a virgin, then - if it were me - i'd do it in a heartbeat. It will be the only time in your entire life you will be able to have unprotected sex. Enjoy it. No intercourse feels better than intercourse without a rubber.
Might as well make it a marathon sex romp, because from now on, unless you're both monogamous - and I'd be wary of that - you'll be using condoms.
BTW, a friend of mine got the Clap from going down on a guy. It's entirely possible, think about it.

Simple, wear a condom.
You can get ones that give extra pleasure, so in a way, it's better to wear one!

Well, not entirely. I would say no, just because
1) It's probably just a bad idea with it being unprotected and cum could get inside your body and you could end up with an STD passed from his parents that he doesn't know about (Yes, people can be carriers of a disease and not even know)
2) Your ass could start bleeding while he's fucking you or vice versa, which could be bad for you and him.

I would still use protection even though you are both virgins. There is still a risk of catching STIs.

STDs aren't always transmitted through sex - it could be an STD, but it could also be transmitted just in general through blood. Some people are born with HIV, and it's possible they don't know.
It's always best to be careful. Even if you're both virgins, if you really want to go unprotected, make sure to get STD tests before-hand. I would recommend using protection, but... if not, you should probably do tests before.

DO NOT TAKE THE RISK. either if you could have an STI without realising that night of been passed by blood. Just don't be risky. Condoms are easy to get hold of:confused:

It can be from blood transfusions e.g. sharing dirty needles.

Exactly. Unless you know your partner's history very well, it is safe, but you should never take risks.

I believe in openness and honesty in sexual health education. I had a whole class on HIV this semester and we would have open dialogues about different sex acts and what sort of public health concerns and risks go along with them.
That being said. No. You cannot get an STD if you are actually both virgins. Those who have posted above me are quite correct about that. HOWEVER, it is always a good idea to start good habits. If you don't use a condom with this guy, and then decide you need to use condoms with other guys, you may find you don't enjoy sex as much, and you may be tempted not to use condoms. And while you can't get an STD, gay sex can get messy, so you may want to keep that in mind. There is also the possibility of getting a UTI or similar infection if bacteria from the rectum gets inside of you. (Assuming you're the insensitive partner.)
I would suggest that you use a condom. If you put a little lube inside the condom, you might find it more comfortable. It also will glide better that way.

The use of condoms with men is usually to prevent STDs. I would say as long as none of you have aids or another sexually transmitted disease then there is nothing really to worry about. It's also better to be safe than sorry! :) I would still use one just in case.

I am sure it varies according to the particular infection. There maybe infections that are only ever transmitted by having sex but there are also infections for which sex is one method of transmission and there are others.
Take herpes as an examime. This is caused by the herpes simplex virus which is spread by contact. Crucially cold sores are also caused by the same virus so someone with a cold sore could give a partner genital herpes from oral sex and touching a cold sore and then using hands on a partners genitals could also spread it. Infection is permanent though it can spend long times in remission whilst the virus is dormant.
I have not been through every infection that is often sexually transmitted to work out for each one if sex if the only method of transmission so there maybe others too.

Even if you're both virgins, using condoms is highly recommended. These days, you can't really tell if the other person really is clean and free of diseases. With medical laws as they are now, parents hold the right to have their child's doctor withhold the fact that they have an STD or whatever that they contracted through birth until they are 18.
I know it's a stupid law, but you can't be too sure because of that. I had a best friend in high school who was also my fuck buddy. I was at risk for contracting his STD even though we always did everything sex-related with a condom; we didn't know he had it until he was 18 and his doctor told him. Let's just say he was pissed at his parents for a while and uber sorry to me for putting me at risk; although I never put it against him since he never knew.
So even if both are virgins, use protection until you can really figure out if they're STD free. You don't know how secretive their parents, and inadvertently their doctor, might be. Only then can you feel free to go full on nuts with them! lol
