With 2013 coming to an end its time to reflect on the great games released and see which one was the best (please note that not all of us have the same tastes therefore things will be different), so go ahead and share, which was the best game released in 2013?

In my educated opinion it is a tie between Bioshock Infinite and Shadowrun Returns, both got me hours of entertainment and shock and immersed me in very strong settings.

Minecraft: Xbox 360/PS3. I've loved this game for some times, (Since 2010), and this release (and yes I count it as 2013 because of the disc release being 2013 and the PS3 version just coming out) really brought it to the masses more than ever. It can get annoying with everyone talking about it, but I still love it. (Go ahead call me a fanboy). Love it. If I had to pick another game it would be Bioshock ∞. SO Good.

For me, it's got to be GTA 5. IMO it's not just the best game of the year, it's arguably the best game of ALL TIME. The runner-up would probably be The Last of Us.

Hard to say. We got a LOT of good games this year.

We got Grand Theft Auto V, which offers some ridiculous creative freedom for a game in it's genre, even more so than it's rival, Saint's Row IV, which was also great.

The Last of Us....is fucking The Last of Us.

We got the closest thing to a sequel possible to one of the greatest adventure games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Super Mario 3D World kicked ass.

Bioshock Infinite, Battlefield 4, and Dead Rising 3 all deserve to be somewhere high up there too.

I don't think that any of these games are worthy of such a title, as the majority were released before they could see their ultimate potential on the next generation. But it's safe to say that gaming is about to take a huge step in the right direction. Just imagine how much bigger GTA V would be, with all of it's features and even the map, if it were released on the new consoles.

I'd rather wait and see how things play out. I don't want to name any one game, because I believe that this was a brilliant year for gaming as a whole, and I look forward to seeing it grow.

I say Battlefield 4. Because to me it has had the best experience of all those games. Plus, to me 2013 has been a terrible year for gaming.

Going to have to go with the last of us. GTAV was a bit of a disappointment me for me personally and no other game really stood out except for the last of us.

In my opinion, every game this year is simply overrated or not even that "great" in the first place.
To start I'll say the only 5 games released this year that look any good to me.
Battlefield 4- amazing graphics and gameplay. Well done balancing.
GTA V- it looks pretty cool...
Metro: Last Light- Simply another zombie/horror type of game that sounds decent.
Total War: Rome II- Sounds a LITTLE overhyped, but not bad.
and The Last of Us- I can tell this game is seriously overrated. But still okay.
