I noticed that 20-55% of ads on local TV stations are car ads, car insurance ads, loan ads, and law firm ads. I think that playing only those ads 90% of the time is getting annoying since they are the same ads. I think the network should set a limit on how many of those ads to show per day. Does that sound good? What do you guys think?

I think that the entire reason they play so much for you is because, even if you're thinking about them in a negative light - "annoying" - you're still thinking about the product or services they're trying to offer, and so, the advertising firms have done their job to shove their filth into your brain.

I don't think they would limit them because that's how those companies make money, then again on PIX, they always show college or lawyer commercials which are annoying as.....heck. :P

I think the network should do whatever raises the most advertising revenue, so I have the lowest cable bill possible. I don't listen to them, anyways.
