I do not consider masturbation as a religious sin (If we are talking about the Christian faith). Scientists consider masturbation as a form of stress relief, and good for a person's mental health (Or so I understand it). I can not think why it would be "Any worse" on a religious holiday. Christians interpret certain bits of the bible how they choose, and that leads some to believe that masturbation is a form of sin. But I do not agree, but that is just me. (Is this the right forum for this topic?)

I am a religious person, & have had the same feelings of guilt. I finally decided that God gave me this penis & these hormones! Why should He be upset that I am responding to stimulation from them? He decided to put us through about 10 years of puberty, & I believe He expects us to experience the sexual release that our bodies require. As long as we are respectful of these bodies, (nothing harmful), I don't believe we are sinning in any way!

Yes, there is a Biblical passage that indicates that we are not to 'spill seed upon the ground" As opposed to impregnating a woman. I think this is misinterpreted! Do you really think that God wants 14 year old guys to make babies? Not me!

Yes I do because I come from a super religious family (but I'm not as big as a Christian as them, it shows when my sexual orientation is lesbian snitch is still in the closet because of the family beliefs) so I do it then just feel bad so I fall asleep before I can stress :)
