community showers.. us army.. basic training

alright, ill be turning 18 on march 10th, about 3 weeks away. im joining the us army in april, 2 months away. im not worried about BCT.. i probably need it for physical training... anyway, im really nervous about the community showers. i mean, ill be turning 18, but people tell me i look 16. and all the guys in the army are gonna be like 18 year olds that look like their 20 and most likely some 20 year olds, in basic training. i dont wanna take showers with 20 year olds because i still have a kid like apperance. my penis is only like 5 inches erect. and i barely have any facial hair, i got a little goatee coming in, but no beard or anything. i dunno.. i guess im gonna have to man it up and just do it? i doubt the guys would care anyway if i look young. who knows.. im really nervous about that.. nothing else really.

When you're in basic training the showers will be the least of your worries and everyone elses. ;)

You'll be fine. No one is going to be looking at you and making comments because no one wants to be suspected of being gay in the military. So I wouldn't worry.

Also that's awesome you're going into the army. I respect those who want to serve. :)

Yeah why would they really care to be honest your all there to train not to bitch about how each other look, if anyone slags you off for being young or not fully developed are just jerks.

If its the community showers you are worried about, then you are almost certainly going to be stood around peeople with penises smaller than yours. Five inches erect is sorta the average, you have pubic hair, pit hair, and I presume, you are an average height, so there's not a lot to worry about!
If you do shower, Im sure (as I do) you feel like everyone is looking at you, you are the centre of attention, and the spotlight is on you! Well, they probably arent going to care an awful lot.
It is the army, and dont be suprised if they do just throw in a comment or two. You have to be a realist. May I ask, how big is your penis when not erect? The average, i suppose is about 3 inches? Btw, youve got balls for joining the army, so no matter what anyone says, they cant take that away from you!

i got pit hair, ass hair, pubic hair, nut hair, deep voice, im 5'10''.. i mean, im basically developed besides torso hair and most facial hair. my dick is probably.. well.. a flacid penis varies.. it's anywhere from 1 1/2 - 3 inches.. given the weather, what im thinking, if im nervous - those 3 factors depends on my length... im actually really excited about enlisting, besides the showers! LOL... my MOS is M1 abrams tank crewman (or atleast that's what i'm shooting for)

You'll be fine. the showers will be the least of your worries. Besides the way a drill sarge will yell at you I think that will be your #1 priority.

i don't understand why people are SO self concious of their physical being. i mean, it makes no sense. why would i be so nervous about dudes taking a peep at my pecker? we all got one, and they ALL come in different shapes and sizes, and colors for that matter. i may be below average, but they're worse out there! i guess i just need to hold my head up high and be proud at what i got.

I leave for BCT on 20080617 to Fort Benning. Ive heard its the hardest BCT there is in the Army. All infantry go there.

But my MOS is 25b Information Technology Specialist.

Its going to be fun!

I dont like community showers either. But hell, Its 9 weeks in which your probably never going to see these guys again.

So make friends, Enjoy yourself.

Basic isn't as hard as everyone makes it seem.
