Well,i got into a brakeup 2 weeks ago,my best friend told me about a good girl friend of his and told me that me and her got a lot in common,he told her to add me on facebook ,she did and i accepted,then he told me that i should talk with her but the problem is...i dont know how to start a conversation with her,i'm more like a responder not a starter,she actualy started a conversation with me...an akward one...she said to me on facebook chat "g" i resonded with "?" and she told me "oh,sorry my bad" i said it's fine and couldn't find in that moment a starting point,this doesn't happens only at her...it happens at everyone,what should i do?how should i start?thanks and sorry for my english

Ask her how is she doing, if she has any hobbies or so. Just a normal conversation so that you can get to know her better.

I suppose if she's someone you've not spoken to before, that gives you a blank canvass to work on, just mail her saying Hi, how are you and then try and find some area of interest with her.
