As a fairly open minded person, I don't mind them being in the parade, but I do think it is a bit strange. Getting down to it, women often dance in similar clothes and similar styles so it is a bit sexist against men (if you can really say that) that some many people are mad about this. Any thoughts?

To be biased as a gay person, I am more than fine with guys dancing on a parade float. But then again I'm used to pride parades. Lol.

But to be honest, I completely agree with Collins. This is such a double standard. Women are upheld for dancing erotically whether in private or in strip clubs, or whatever. Fuck I have seen women dancing erotically in public events. But when the minute men do it, people get so offended. It's complete bullshit. How come men have to be seen as "pigs" who worship erotic half naked dancing women, but when guys do so people get offended. However, while I don't support pushing children into ignorance, I don't think it was appropriate. I'm completely fine with the parade, but also parents should educate their kids on such issues so as to not continue the double standards.

I'd like to believe people would have reacted similarly if it'd been women that did this, but I really don't think that would be the case.

It wasn't appropriate for the event, indeed, but they had every right to do it (even if defnitely it'd be a better idea to do it at something where there wouldn't be as many children...) I agree with AgentHomo. Women do it and few people care. Why is it such a big deal when guys do it? Besides, women sometimes have no choice but to do it. These guys wanted to do it. Doesn't that picture seem rather twisted? This society is getting weirder by the day.

Maybe edit the options in the poll to be more moderate like "inappropriate but people shouldn't get mad"

I would love it if I saw this. I've been to a couple of parades before and they indeed have scantily clad women shaking their assets around for a part of the time. i see no reason why men couldn't do the same thing. i can see why people would get upset about children watching, but women and men walk around in swimsuits in the summer all the time (at least where i live) and i never really hear anyone complaining about that. it's all the same to me, and i'm going to try to raise my son so it's all the same to him as well.

Hey they're not naked, they're just dancing, if they were women it wouldn't be a problem probably,
so why make a problem out of it
