Private Messaging

So why is it that the private messaging is in the form of a bunch of quotes? this can become very annoying, and make the convo hard to read. Why don't you make it like a text message form like the iphone or most other phones where you are one oneside, and the person you are talking to is on the other side. This would make PMing much easier

You can just delete the quoted part when you're sending a PM.

Because that's how vBulletin works. :P

However there is already something in place that's similar to what you're talking about.
At the bottom of the last PM you received from a person, there's a link that says "Message History." If you click that the conversation between you and the other user will show up in a similar form to what you're discussing. It's not perfect, but without installing any further modifications, that's the best that this version of vBulletin can do to my knowledge.
