One’s education is only what you make of it,
So for you to complain that the teacher doesn’t teach
Is basically the same as you saying that preacher doesn’t preach
However the definition of a teacher is, a person who teaches
You see we live in a society in which students memorize instead of understand
In which how smart a person is, is dependent on how much they remember, not how much they comprehend
Many students don’t excel because there is no motivation
It seems that it’s become 100% perspiration but 0% inspiration
Go with the flow, study medicine, study law
Make mom and dad proud, but in the end it’s all a flaw
Study what you want, the thing that you are interested in
That way you will be educated and happy, it’s a win-win
The desire to learn is worth more than any honors or AP course
Thus the happiness gained from learning is an amazing force
I may not have the highest ACT score or GPA
But my education is worth more than anyone can pay
Education is no more than what you make of it
So I have to ask, what are you going to make?
