So I have a friend that I knew since freshman year, I'm a senior now in highschool. She's always seem to like to sit next to me and lean on me. She came back from Basic Training for 2 weeks before she goes back for AIT, and she said maybe we should go on a date...but idk if it's like a 1ns, or a longterm relationship? I can't tell if she just wants to go out for one night, or start a relationship...I'm not good at reading this type of body language.
Her previous boyfriend in freshman year was supposed to be her 1ns, but it turned out to be a relationship that deteriorated (love, hate, back and forth) by the start of my senior year (she's already graduated, 1 year ahead of me). The guy fell in love with her.
Idk if I want to be in a longterm relationship, but I've never dated before either. All this is kinda nerve-wracking to me. I don't really know what the full definition of "date" means either. Can someone help me?
