Do you think I might have ADD?

My mom says I don't, but...well, my mom says a lot of things when I come up with crazy ideas. But maybe this one isn't so crazy...

Well, I did some research on the symptoms, and this is why I think /i might actually have it:
I lose focus easily if something doesn't interest me or is too hard.
I start a lot of projects that I never finish, constantly dreaming up new ideas.
If something DOES interest me, I almost never stop, ie. Half Life 2/GMod/CounterStrike
When I'm really getting into something, I usually forget what my parents ask me to do (do laundry, unload/reload dishwasher, take out trash, etc.)

I think I may be missing one...or maybe two...

There's a good chance you may have it but we cannot diagnose you online so you need to go to the doctor and get this figured out and get a proper diagnosis.

I happen to have ADHD.

Some of the above things you've mentioned ALWAYS occur to me. Like, for example when I study for a test for a long period of time, I forget the material I studied like an hour later.

Or, when something doesn't click, or I am not interested, my mind goes into space---seriously.

You possibly may have ADD or ADHD...whatever the case may be. You should try speaking to your doctor, seeing that none of us can really give a diagnoses...seeing that none of us are doctors or professonials in this field, (and others).

I have exactly what you have, and I took an ADD test when i was 6. I don't believe that's ADD, so I'm going to have to agree with Silence.

Im not a doctor, but I have ADHD and you just discribed me... I have to say 90% chance you do... But its not a bad thing..

i am diagnosed with ADD and ADHD and i have those same problems but just to be sure you should check with a docter

Yeah, there is help that you can get for this so don't feel upset or so outraged that you can't do anything about it. Its normal to have ADHD as a lot of people have it.
