Masturbation and Parents

If a parent realised their child was becoming more and more sexually tempted, (looking for sex or similar) do you think it would right or wrong for the parent to show their child how to masturbate so that the temptation to have sex dies off a bit, or do you think that would make it worse?

I think it's ok for a parent to talk about masturbation,sexual intercourse, puberty, but not exactly show you how to masturbate, maybe putting on a condom would be more appropriate if the child is mature enough to realize the significance of what is happening.

Yea I don't think a a parent should SHOW their child how to masturbate but talking about it is fine. Even though I haven't experienced that yet.....

its one thing for a parent to talk to their child about sex and sexuality, but to actually show them how to do something, like masturbate, i think would be crossing a line and totally inappropriate on their part.:)
