I'm not going to go into details but i'm sort of seeing someone who lives in Leeds whilst I live in Manchester. We've had one date and have texted each other everyday for the last 3-4 weeks and he's really nice. Since the date I have been noticeably busy as Christmas approaches and he thinks that I don't like him as much. From my point of view it's getting quite difficult to keep investing into the texting conversations that we have when we have only had one date and my schedule makes it difficult to arrange a next date because of Christmas and work etc. He really likes me though I think possibly more than I like him but I did think that it could become something. Just would like some advice from other people who may have been in this situation before and what possible outcomes could be from this and where you think I should take this?

Do you *want* to date him?
If so; Is a phone call or skype call an option where you can talk for an hour about your schedule/busyness? Talk things out. Communicate that you DO like him, and that you're just dealing with some external things that are affecting your two's budding relationship.
If you don't want to date him - Say it. Don't hide behind excuses until he goes away. It's not fair to him. Don't be a coward.
As to whether or not it can work - yes, but it has to be mutual effort put in.

Reassure him of your feelings if you want to stay with him.
If you don't want it to go any further then tell him, but make it smooth and not hard, tell him why and I am sure he will understand.
