I've decided to get my nipples pierced after I turn 18. I'm getting bars put in horizontally. I also want to get the top of my boobs (a little below where my cleavage starts) pierced and put bars there.

What do you all think about nipple piercings? Have any of you gotten them done? If so, do you have any advice? And do you think the rings or bars are better/more attractive?

I think a bar would look way better on a nipple. The nipple's already round, so a bar would kinda balance it out.

Bars seem safer. When I got my ear pierced
the piercing itself did not hurt much - it just
zap and it was done. But for a while after my
ear lobe was really sore if I forgot and rubbed it.
And just make sure you stick to whatever instructions
and kit they give you to keep away infection.

One of my friends got a ring it ripped right out when she put a shirt on, my other friend got a bar and she's never had any issues. Just prepare for sharp pain because it hurts like a bitch for a few mins after, apparently. As long as you look after it, like any piercing, you should be fine.

I want to get my nipples and clit hood done too. I think they're both really attractive so I can understand you wanting to get it done. I know a couple people with their nipples done and both like it and said it wasn't too bad.

I like how they look but I could never get any. I got my ears pierced and they were.... actually I'm going to skip saying this because then you're not going to want to get the piercings anymore. But good for you!!

Go with the bar, there seems to be less disasters with that. From friends that got it done it's quite painful... good luck.

Haha not really, I just have a very good pain tolerance. I already have my lobes on both ears and helix on one done, so I definitely won't be chickening out. :P

Nipple piercings are cool. I love how they look on guys and girls. My friends that have them tell me I should but I'm chicken.

I have bars for mine...so very worth it but the pain was pretty bad...and will be sore for several days but I do not regret it at all

I have bars and like other have said it was very painful but worth it in the end. I had a friend that had the ring and her nipple tore now she has only one nipple done which is kinda weird. I also had my clitoral hood done and that wasn't nearly as bad as far as the pain goes

I've considered getting them done but my boyfriend's not too hot on the idea. And I'm paranoid about ripping them out. But I do like them, they're pretty hot. As everyone else has said, bars. I've heard they're safer, plus they look better.
