I need your opinion.Do you give them the thumbs-up or must the wearer's ear be chopped off and cast in a bin somewhere?

My left ear is pierced and I have worn a spike a few times.
Some ppl don't realize the spike is an illusion and they fit
a regular piercing hole. Cuffs are cool too. I mainly wear a
10mm white gold hoop.

The ear cuff things look tacky to me, never liked the look of them.

The ears spikes (tapers) aren't actually meant to be used as jewellery unless you're wearing fake stretchers. They're actually meant just for stretching the ear until the hole is big enough to get the next size plug/tunnel in. If you wear a taper as the actual jewellery it can weigh down the back of the ear causing the hole to be bigger at the back and tighter at the front which could end up damaging the tissue and prevent you from stretching any bigger. Sorry for that essay but people don't realise that although they might be pretty colours they're only meant to be a stretching medium and not used to go out in, especially when you get to the bigger sizes like 10mm+
