Physicals - Check Ups

Should I be getting check ups (are they annual) or physicals, not really sure what the difference is? I'm 19 years old. We used to do them every year at our pediatrician but now I don't have a pediatrician since I'm over 18. I know it's for my own health to do so, but just wanted to know if other guys go?

whenever I went out for sports.
