Why there is no thanks button for posts?

we use to have something like this, a reputation system. lets just say, it didn't end well.

I'd say Ronnie got rid of it, but yeah, it was abused by almost every member and it caused nothing but fights, drama and headaches. It's been a much nicer environment since it's been gone, or at least I think so.

If you want to thank someone, send them a visitor message or quote them and tell them so.

idk. I know this site isn't what it used to be but people are a lot more judgmental now and it would become a personality contest of sorts.

Even though I have a ton of positive rep on VT's sister forum -
I don't care for it much - too many ppl use it to attack others.
I think dropping someone a VM is best - which i should do more often.

If you're talking about Govteen, we're in no way associated to them.
And as others mentioned I don't think that this would really be necessary for vt. It'll just end up like rep - everyone will like their friends' posts just because they posted them, not because of the quality.
