You're definitely not pregnant and it's completely normal for someone's menstrual cycle to be completely irregular. I've had my period for a few years now and it's still unpredictable.

Thank you for the reassurance. I’ve read somewhere that getting sick can delay your period and I’ve just recently had a bad cold. Is it at all normal to gain a bit of weight?

A number of factors can delay your period, not just getting sick, but yes, I suppose that's possible. I'm sure it's normal. If it was a significant amount of weight lost or gained, it would probably be more of a concern, but as it's just a bit, I don't think it's indicative of anything.

I’m new to all this but I really need someone to help me. So about 16 days ago I was due for my period- but I didn't get it. I'm 13- and I skipped one before, last year sometime, so it wasn't that abnormal. But I started masterbating about a year ago- but the thing is, I don't finger myself. I keep my clothes but I just sort of push my downstairs region against something- like my hand or a bed, and that's how I get off.

The problem is- I've somehow convinced myself that I'm pregnant (crazy, I know) even though I'm a complete virgin. I feel like I've put on weight- but I weighed myself and I still weight the same, I just look fatter. I have been getting mild nausea but that's it. I usually get a lot of discharge before my period but I've only gotten a little bit and I don't think I'm getting my period this month.


How do I convince myself that I'm not pregnant?


I feel like I could've gotten pregnant from sitting down in the shower (I share with my dad and brother, too) to shave my legs, or even using the same towels.


I'm so scared, please help me ASAP!
