Hey everyone. So I have been wondering something for a while and would like some general opinions on this. If your honest opinion is harsh feel free to post it, in fact I would prefer you did. Alright, onto the question.
Basically I really like female clothes, not dresses and skirts, but more like women's t-shirts and jackets and other types of clothes both genders wear, but have differences based on gender. I am extremely skinny and the clothes fit me pretty well and I like the designs on them, but I don't wear them often.
I was wondering what your opinions on a guy wearing girls t-shirts, jackets, etc... are. I don't own any but am interested in getting some for myself. I don't feel like I need them though, so public opinion could help influence my decision.
Thanks!

I really don't have an opinion, but people can wear what they want to wear as long as it's not overly revealing.

I don't think that's weird at all and I encourage you to wear whatever you'd like.

The thing that comes to mind immediately is that most women's clothing are made to flatter women's bodies, and especially jackets. I mean, jackets make room for where a woman's boobs would go, and most guys don't really have anything to fill up that space.
If you're thinking about fitted T-shirts, they are made to be snug around women's breasts and hips, and guys don't have the same shape so I don't know how flattering they would be. The reason that a lot of "girl clothes" look so pretty on girls is half design, half the way they fit on our bodies.
Also, I'm a huge believer in doing your own thing when it comes to fashion, but have you thought about what people around you would think? Not that their opinions should matter, but I know if someone in my school did that they probably wouldn't be greeted by a welcoming audience, and don't want you to get any trouble from anyone. Anyways, honestly you should do what you want when it comes to clothing, it's just a thought.

This is why I asked for your opinions. I know VB is generally biased towards everyone being an individual, but posts like yours still help influence my decision. Thanks.

Whatever floats your boat.
I would definitively give a skewed look on first sight; not that I disgust it, but it would still feel out of place.
I already tried out a girl's shirt or two, and let me say... It's too damn TIGHT!

Ehh unisex - metrosexual - whatever. It is nbd.
I see college age Asian tourists wearing what you
are talking about all the time.
One of my favorite song verses is:
"You see, you can’t please everyone so you gotta please yourself" - Owl City
I mean look how Johnny Depp who's probably the most popular guy in the world dresses (http://i.imgur.com/BT5AOH0.jpg)

Do what you want. If you like the shirts and they fit, go ahead and wear them. The shape of women's clothing is a bit different though, so I'd encourage you to try something on if you're doubtful it would fit. It's a just in case kind of thing.
