Since I started puberty I have grown to be more comfortable with my body. I never did enjoy taking off my shirt if front of other people, if I went swimming for example. Now I take off my shirt often for any athletic event and I walk around at home in my underwear. I am slowly becoming less self conscious about my body. I think my body and facial hair have helped me become more confident.

Well have you become more comfortable with your body since you started puberty?
If not, why not?

What changes are making you self conscious.

Yes this is puberty related, like all my other threads. Do not lock.

I've put on a lot of weight since going through puberty, so am a little "well rounded"! I'm probably a little better now, and I don't let it bother me so much now.

I've actually lost heaps of weight and magically become more toned since starting puberty so I'm pretty happy :) So to answer your question~ I am self-conscious of my body but I'm definitely comfortable with it

1: I guess I won't take off my shirt or anything.
2: well I am shorter than most people in my school.
3: I'm starting to grow long hairs on my chin. And upper lip my voice is deeper
4: my penis hasn't started growing and I'm 15. I hardly have any armpit hair or hair on my arm for that matter. I'm shorter than most people I know.

I sure am beccming less self conscience but im not exactly the most confident person either. Its not cause of muscle but mire like looks and stuff which makes me not really confident. Still im not afraid to take my shirt off or pants and walk around like that even in public but mostly just cause im too lazy to care. hha

I used to be super skinny but I have put on weight and looks flabby now. I used to take my shirt off now I am very very self conscious and keep at least a vest on.

A lot more muscle and a magically obtained tan work wonders for my self-esteem, but I'm still very shy.

I think I'm the same. I used to be dead fat as a kid so was dead self-conscious about my body - especially when changing for PE in primary school. I used to hold my breath whilst i had my top off to make me look thinner, and i still looked overweight. When i hit puberty though, i began to gat taller and thus got thinner. Now I'm more comfortable with myself. I don't hold my breath anymore but i still don't like being topless for too long, particularly around people I'm not comfortable with. I have recently found myself spending more and more time with my top off though, so hopefully this is my confidence building up :)
