Whatever side you have your dick when in your underwear would probably feel best; as to whether a hard-0n would show, it depends on how tight or loose the size of your trunks are. Baggy ones would show less, while a smaller size would show more. At 5.8, you're nearly 6 which is a nice size to have @ your age, 13! Not many 13 yo's are that big. You're already at the upper end of normal for an adult man.

Many guys would say, if you get hard, don't worry about it, act normal and go about your business, it will soon go away. What I have done is put my hand down my trunks and put my dick down and between my legs. You may have some discomfort for a bit but i guarantee your woodie will go away.

I wear speedos, personally, and if I pop a bone I just move it to the right side and forget about it.

I'm assuming you're going swimming when you wear trunks? I wouldn't wear trunks when out in public, there aren't enough pockets for wallet/phone, etc, I'd wear shorts; and I wouldn't be in speedos.

A more uncomfortable idea is wearing speedos underneath but like...idk if I'd do that.
When it happens, you'll need to experiment to see what angle is less noticeable. Like you could flip straight up, or you could go directly left or right. Go in front of a mirror and test it I guess! ha!

It's just practice and whatever makes you most comfortable, and yes the joys of embarrassing erections - you will get them at embarrassing moments - that unfortunately happens to all of us.

I never was a fan of the netting in trunks. It doesn't feel good on my dick. As for what way to point I guess do whatever is more comfortable. Mine never stays in one spot anyway so it don't matter for me I guess. If you're worried about getting hard and someone seeing it maybe wear some tighter briefs or boxerbriefs under your trunks? I tend to point mine down when I get hard because it naturally goes straight out and pointing down is way more comfortable than up but that's just me. I think most guys are the opposite from what I've seen on here.

Being noticeable depends on the shorts. Small or tight ones might show, but tbh i've never noticed someone get a hardon while swinning.

I mean if it happens, just either move it to the side or like constantly keep swimming until it goes down so no one notices

erections are always noticable in swimming trunks, irrespective of how you position your dick. If i were you, if you don't think you can control your erections, don't go near the pool. take it from me, it's damn awkward when you hit a hard-one at the swimming baths... makes you look like a damn pedo, not good at all :/ haha

I don't know..I rarely get a bone when I'm swimming. I mostly wear boxer briefs under my shorts??? Maybe just me and water even in the shower I'm good. But a bath is different watching my dick floating in the water. LOL Bazinga!

Boners are always noticeable in swimming trunks, there's no two ways about it. If you are wearing brief style trunks then I would recommend pointing your dick up to one of the sides where the trunks go around your waist, I find that the most comfortable. If they are baggier like board shorts then just let it hang down.

Wear a pair of well fitting briefs underneath. I keep my penis pointing front but at 2'' soft I am rather small...At your size it is best to keep it pointing down.

I wear the skin tight jammers or speedo for swim team, otherwise under trunks I wear the speedo or a jock.. cause I hate the liners in most of them.
