girl Help please

hi.i am 17,and till this year i haven't done anything whith a girl.(of course i realise its my fault because i am fairly shy.as for my appearance,i am qip cm tall,thhin and my face is imo normal,maybe beautiful).but this year something changed,which made me nervous.
it is a girl.i knew her for many years,but we barely talked.but this school year we are classmates and we sit next to each other.the thing is that many(???) things happpened the last couple of months and i don't know what to do.i can't really say if she loves me.the most probable is that i am in the friendzone.we speak every day very much,she likes my company(laughs etc),sometimes we "forget" some books so that we can sit completely next to each other,she mostly talks to me first,we have much eye and "body"(?)contact but....
But there are also some bad things.firstly, she behaves like we are lovers,which is bad imo.it means that she doesn't trully love me.well of corce this could be a way to show her love,but she has done it to other boys too,noin the same extent..also,her character isnct the best around there.actually many people hate her.she behaves very well to me,but i think she may suddenly explode to me one day.also,she is far more experienced than me.nevermind,i have said too much.i don't know what to do.i don't even her her phone number..i am in love with her...:wub:.but i think that if she loved me she would have done something .but maybe she waits for me(well many times she implied gettiing out,but i think she didn't mean it.) What should i do?Just don't tell me to go to say it to her directly.i wont do that.

Okay, so what I've understood from that:

1. You're in love with her, but you're afraid of her character, even though you've gotten to know her well.
2. You want her to love you back and expect her to ask you out, even though she's dropped you hints.
3. You won't tell her you're interested.

Well then.
Maybe you should just ask her, but to make it a little less awkward for you you could do it when she lets you know she wants to hang out with you, or implies you asking her out. You could also just be openly flirty (which I don't know if you are) and see if she gets it.
I know it's tough, but if you are too shy to tell her you're interested, then your best bet is just waiting because there's not much else you can do. Ask her for her number, and maybe it'll be easier for you to express yourself through text. Being a girl, if you're friends she'll probably think nothing of giving you her number.
