Why isn't it normal? And I think it's just a myth that'll it'll grow back darker and heavier. It only seems that way at first due to the thicker diameter at the base of the hair when you first cut it.

Hey,

I was 13 when I first shaved my upper lip and it was mainly because I have dark hair and it was getting noticeable enough that it was making me feel self conscious. My mom's bf showed me a way to shave it that it doesn't grew back too quickly or too thick, so I only have to shave it every 2 months or so to keep it looking decent.

Thanks everybody for answering my question.I just looked in a mirror(haven't looked in one for months) and I wouldn't call my mustache peach fuzz anymore. It has gotten a lot thicker and darker.
