View Full Version : My poison of choice is a little booze and a line of cocaine.

My family always laid big expectations on me. They’ve always made my choice. The school, sports, friends, college. And I’ve been a good boy. I did my best. But I’m tired. Tired of living somebody else’s life. It is not mine. I don’t belong to myself. I don’t know who I am or who I want to be.
But I’ve met a person. He introduced me to the world of escape. My own world. And I thought I had strength to live.
Yesterday he died because of overdose. I know I should quit. But without drugs I will return to that world of nowhere.

you don't want to end up like your friend. stand up to your family and take back your life.

Cocaine doesn't do a single beneficial thing for you, sorry to say. You'll end up needing it so badly, abandoned by people because of the stigma. Then you won't be able to get a job, because it will be obvious to employers you've been using it.
Then what? Why not instead of buying cocaine, use your money to make your own life choices?

Look, I was in a similar situation. I've always felt pressured to excel at school and everything felt like a routine. So I thought, "Maybe if I experiment a bit it'll take the edge off." Worst decision I've made so far. It might feel cool to finally be deviating from what you usually do or are expected to do, but you're just screwing yourself over. Drugs do absolutely nothing good for you. You don't need to know who you are right now, there's plenty of time for that, and you're looking for answers in all the wrong places. The world of drugs is the world of nothingness. I'm assuming you're pretty young, so your life hasn't even started yet. It might not feel like whatever decisions are being made for you will make you happy later in life, but I guarantee you it will pay off. Talk to your parents and tell them what you want to do to make you happier. Take control of your life responsibly.

Firstly, I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. Secondly, if you felt you had a problem with the life you were currently living then you should have tried other things. In fact, you should have probably considered what those kinds of drugs would do to you. I mean look what it did to your friend! Overdosed him. Now you can either chose to live or live the life of something you weren't meant to live for.

It's not a path you want to continue on....It's a good idea to talk to someone like a therapist :)

Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope he is resting in Peace.
Don't be afraid of talk. It really helps. Just tell you parents that you are ready to move on, that you are ready to go to clinic. Memories of "how to be hight" it is a mental desease. You need to be free of it.
Good luck to you!

It's not black or white. You can find some middle ground until you've got a little more space to yourself. Good luck :/

He is right do not look at this is terms of black and white, yes and no. I am not saying go do more drugs, but I AM saying that just cutting loose every once and a while is not a bad thing, and drugs are not the only way to do that try video games. And aside from that you obviously need to talk to you parents if they are oppressing you this much.

Hey u fellas!
Well, that was a lil bit creepy, but I'm fine.
Yes, I decided to went to rehab center. I heard from my parents friends about a good one. I want to tell you that I'm the one who was hipnosed!! It is a part of treatment. Great people of Ukraine is truly amazing.
I'm a former addicted person. Now I need a lot to do. I understand that many of addicted people are regretting about that they are not decided to get a good treatment in my age.
I have a time to fix all my troubles.
Peace and Love.
