i hate my brother, i always have and i always will. he is probably the reason my suicide thoughts started, he has always kept me out of everything and bullied me
today it was my second brothers birthday so i had to be with them all night, he keeps annoying me and i am very close to killing him. i can't stand it anymore, either he's gonna die or i run away, i dont have anything else...

Same for me... its a reason I do a lot of things that arent good for me. I get verbally abused by my brother and I used to get physically abused when I was younger by him. I used to always just get my parents but seeing how your coming to us for advice I guess they dont care...? Now I just deal with it and do my own thing. The best thing to do is ignore him. He isnt worth your time or having suicidal thoughts.

Ive done it and Im not gonna say it went perfectly but my brother didnt bother me for a while... Have you tried to get along with your brother? Siblings arent supposed to be violent against each other but unfortunately it happens.

Well... Still, bottling up your emotions isnt good for you >.< It doesnt matter in the end if your parents yell at you (It might be worth it... probably) Control your temper. I know its gonna be hard seeing how hes been terrorizing you and harassing you for a long time (Your whole life pretty much) but in the end, words are enough. If you kill him hes not gonna have enough time to listen to what you need to say lol

Me and my older brother (he's 18, I'm 16) get along well most of the times, he pisses me off a bit, but generally we're friendly to eachother. I don't know why he bothers you, but I'm sure that deep inside he still loves you as his little brother, although he doesn't show it. It's some kind of connection all brothers have, regardless of the relationship they have with eachother. Try to ask him why does he hates you, and what can you two do to change it.

Seriously, how is anyone supposed to help, if all you're just telling us is how much you hate him? All I've got out of this massage was: 1) I hate my brother very much, and 2) I want to kill him.
First I think you need to calm down, and settle what the real problem with our brother is. You name ostracism, but you need to be more clear on how he locks you out. And we don't know if your hate comes from verbal abuse, manipulating or maybe public humiliation, so of course I won't know unless you tell us.
If you can find the courage to tell us more specific how he is terrorizing your life, it might be easier to give you some good advises.
So the only advise I can give is that killing is something you will regret later. Your only sixteen, and hopefully you will realize with time that killing never would help you in any way. Not to be harsh, but this is kind of serious, so I just had to make a point.
When it comes to your suicidal thoughts, my advise would be that you keep your head high, and rise above all that. You say your brother are 23 years old, and probably won't accomplish anything. So isn't better to actually work hard, do something for your further career, so you one day can be the superior when your both are grown-ups? Remember your brother can't live with your parents all his life, so if you focusing on making your life better, he won't necessary win in the long run.
