Because boxes are too looses and everything just hangs and when you wear shorts everyone can see your junk swinging about, also if you get a boner in boxers it's very hard to hide! ... I don't wear briefs because I think they're too small, maybe a bit to tight, and don't have any thing down the sides like boxers/boxer briefs .. so the reason I wear boxer briefs is because they're comfy, support/hold my junk nicely and easier to hide a boner, plus I like the look of them!
