Right this is a thread where you post your results for speed test.

Heres Mine:

I'm ment to be getting 20mb download rate so Im quite annoyed that im only getting about 17 mb. (still fast)

Guide:
Go to www.speedtest.net click the yellow pyramid (recommended test server) let it do the tests.

Then display a results box like mine, copy the forum link into your reply.

So post the results and if you know what your meant to be getting (e.g. you only get 17 mb but your meant to get 20 mb)

what service provider is it?

its virgin media/telewest broadband. they upgraded us from 10 mb to 20 mb

and its coz scotland rules :P

Should be faster than this, the service is advertised as 8megs up, and 1meg down. But it is cable, so it's to be expected.

Yeah cable runs slower. My Grandma's computer is slower than shit to be quite frank

For some reason, I always get higher speeds to France than I do to servers here. Not sure why. My Connection is Rated for 6mbps/0.75mbps or 6144kbps/768kbps or 768KBps/96KBps, ADSL.

I tested my Internet speed by using the http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/
My speed test results are,
7.02 Mbps when downloading,
2.86 Mbps when uploading..
