Hey everyone! For a while I wanted to get into photography, but I lacked the camera for the job (used my phone instead =P). I decided to finally order one a little while ago, and I also decided to not bother with anything cheap early on. So, I ordered the Canon EOS 6D (I can't justify the 5D MkIII) and its kit lens, the 24-105mm f/4 L IS (which is WAY better than a kit lens). I spent a little while since then getting used to it and picking up little bits of advice, and here are the pictures I have to show for it now:

Oh btw, this one was taken handheld at 1/6s

And why not a selfie? :3

no, the 6D is an entry level to the full frame cameras and cost~2,000$ . The canon T3i is a entry level camera for photography in general and cost~550$.

do you mean 6d or 60d. Remember it's the photographer that gets great images not the camera, check out my Flickr page to see what is possible with the canon T3 http://www.flickr.com/photos/sirpenguin/. but so far I can tell you leaned the rule of thirds, look up froknowsphoto for more photo knowledge. keep up the good work, its looking good so far

One piece of advice I would give is to never take pictures from eye-level. Putting the camera low or very high always makes photos stand out.
