Random and sometimes not so random throbber!

Hello, I am sure any boy over the age of 18 is used to random boners or at least tries like I do to ignore them but I have two or maybe three questions.

One, is it normal to literally get aroused right out of the blue? As in I am not thinking of anything sexual, I may be bored or sleepy and them, bam, I have an erection and a throbbing one at that!

Two, is it normal to get a throbbing erection every now and then and for some erections to be more intense than others by hardness?

Three and lastly, does this happen to you at all?

I will sometimes get just minor erections out of the blue or I might get an insanely hard erection that throbs and has big veins sticking out, I've found no correlation as to the cause and it appears to be completely random :P

Maybe it's hormonal. Testosterone causes sex drive and males need testosterone since it makes us male.

aha it's so bad right? but good? aha

yeah for me it'd be random like hell, like in the middle of History class and I'd just be there trying to hide as much of my lower body under the table :p aha exaggerating a little there but yeah it happens.

As for the more intense ones, i guess so but not frequentlly i guess :p it's mainly whenever i haven't wanked in ages :p
