Circumcision. Girls only please

I was woundering at what age you learned what
circumcision was and what it ment?
And how you learned what being circumcised was?
For me I was 8 years old when my first brother was born.
My mother told me everything i needed to know.

I still don't know because I don't know anyone that was lol. I mean I got the idea but no super specifics and I've never seen it.
I'm plenty old enough to know, I just never asked lol

Well I knew about it at about 9 because my mothers side of the family are Jewish.Other than that it's not generally done here unless there's a medical issue - so it isn't really talked about.

Its not common among danes to circumcised. We do have etnic groups in Denmark and I guess they do it. I learned about it in school when i was 8 or 9.

I learned the first time I saw one. Still strikes me as odd though most guys here are cut.

I guess around 9 or so the first time I saw one that wasn't cut, thought something was wrong with it until he told me

I think I was 8 or 9. I was reading the books Once and Then and it was placed in WW2 time so it was about this Jewish kid and these people wanted to find out if he was Jewish and whatnot...Yeah, you get the picture.

I was 11 and learned it in sex ed class. I goodled it when I was maybe 13 to actually see it.

I was in elementary school when I learned what the difference was, but I never saw a circumcised one until I was in middle school.

I was about 9 when I heard about boys getting circumcised and i know its when they have their top but cut off but im still not sure how or why they do it.

My mum was looking after her friend's son for a few days, and I helped her give him a bath. I noticed that his penis looked different to my brothers, so I asked mum why and she told me.

I went to a religious elementary school, so I learned pretty early on that it happened from the story of Jesus being taken to the temple and abraham's promise and all that. I didn't get the full horrifying gory detail of it until middle school though
