BEIJING — Jang Song Taek, the uncle by marriage of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, was executed for attempting to seize power for himself, the official news service reported early Friday.

In a rambling report, the Korea Central News Agency denounced the "despicable human scum Jang, who was worse than a dog," and said he had attempted to "overthrow the state by all sorts of intrigues and despicable methods with a wild ambition to grab the supreme power."

Well, I'm not surprised, but I don't really care. Days for this kind of leader are numbered...as long as he kills his own people. Because we're all ok with that.

Well most of us are.

I am surprised a bit that relatives get executed over there, but the political climate in North Korea makes it a place where you might as well be living in the 1940s . It needs change, but that does not seem to be happening soon.

North Korea is a very weird country, I would reccomend reading "Escape from Camp 14", it tells some severe stories of the North.
