In real life and on the internet, whenever I start talking to a female a lot I seem to get feelings for all of them. I don't want it as I'd like to be their friend, but I just can't help it. It's even worse for the one on the internet because even if she did have mutual feelings (which she doesn't I don't believe) we're miles apart. What can I do? Break off communications?

Hmm...this is a tricky situation :(

I'd say try to push the feeling back and try to act normally/ like a friend. That is of course if you want your relationship to stay at a friend level. In time maybe the feelings will fade? I'm sorry, I'm not being very helpful am I?

I've been doing that since we started talking a lot. I'd of course want it to be more but when you're just over six thousand five hundred miles away it's difficult.

:( distance is a b**ch, pardon my French. I guess just keep doing what you're doing and hope the feelings fade...or move 6,500 miles.

The feelings aren't fading, they're just becoming more apparent.

Have you tried talking to her? You could always try a long distance relationship. With internet and video chat it's totally possible to make it work, especially if you have such strong feelings for her!

It wouldn't work. I'm unsure if the feelings are mutual and wouldnt't want to ruin our friendship if not, and long distance never works. I guess I'm going to have to either break off communications or ignore it. How can I truly tell if I have feelings?

It's all a part of growing up, man. I deal with the same thing at times. I just compress it and that seems to work fine. It's not healthy, but I don't think chasing after 5 different girls is good either. :/

You said it yourself man. It only happens when you start talking to a female a lot, which just means you really like fact that a female friend is giving you attention. It really doesn't seem like real "feelings",give it a while and it'll probably fade away by itself. In the mean time, just continue talking to your friend normally :p. And try to understand that you might like a female friend, but it doesn't have to be love. It's all about setting a barrier between friends and that one girl that you really develop feelings for. It'll take a while to understand, but it would definitely improve your friendships/relationships with females. My bad if you don't get what I'm saying,I'm finding it hard to put it into words, lol.

So my options are 1. break off communications, or 2. ignore the feelings? What should I do?

i have the same problem i always end up getting feelings for my female friends i think its because if i make friends easily with a girl then its because shes the kind of person i like and thus it turns into feelings of a romantic nature after a while

If you enjoy talking to her and she enjoys talking to you, I wouldn't break off the communications. People who you feel comfortable talking to are always good to have around.

I would probably just ignore the feelings, it might be hard especially at first, but it's better than just cutting communications.

because they are hot and at least you are attracted to them.
