So I finished playing The Legend of Zelda :A Link Between Worlds earlier today… Man, Yuga would have kicked my ass if it wasn't for that Red Mail I found in Lorule Castle XD I guess having a fully upgraded Master Sword (with a golden blade in ALTTP fashion) also helped. It was epic! The entire game was epic! This really is the perfect 3D Zelda experience. The atmosphere was just incredible. The design looked fantastic, it was almost as if someone took A Link To The Past and magically made it into a 3D game. It really feels like ALTTP, because you're exploring the same overworld and the same dungeons. What do you mean, boring? Everything got remixed! The dungeons are completely different in terms of layout and puzzles, but the themes of most dungeons are the same as their ALTTP counterparts. Lorule looks a lot like the Dark World, but it's different in a lot of aspects. One difference that you can notice straightaway is that it is populated by actual people and not just deformed monstrosities. Speaking of monsters, the monsters you find in Lorule are similar if not identical to the monsters in the Dark World.
The music is surprisingly good. When I first came out of my house and heard the beautiful acoustic hyrule field esque track I was SOLD. I felt like I was being sucked into the game, and I kept having this feeling all the way until the end. I can go on and on and on about how much I love this game but I'll leave it there for now. Everything about this game just hits the spot. 10/10, will play again…
IN HERO MODE.
