During puberty, when your voice changes, does your throat almost look like its soar and you have a cough? My dad swears it's just my voice changing but on my left tonsil, there is a white bump almost looks like a big pimple. I got a q tip and poked it and I don't know what to call it but tiny yellow hard kind of thing came out if it. I think they call it flem haha I don't know if that's right. But i want to know if this is something to be worried about or does this happen in puberty.

I have never had this. But just wait a few weeks and if it does not go away or it gets worse, go see a doctor.

I'm not that worried about it, I just don't want to end up getting like strep throat or something

One part of your voice getting deeper is larger vocal folds (which therefore have greater mass and vibrate at a lower frequency for the same level of tension).

Infection can cause swelling of the vocal folds which will temporarily contain more liquid than usual. That also has the effect of increasing mass and making your voice lower but, unlike your voice changing due to puberty, the lowering due to the infection is temporary.

The presence of obvious swelling or excess mucus, particularly if yellow coloured, suggests an infection. It may be as simple as the common cold and will quite likely resolve itself. If it doesn't in a week or two then see your doctor.
