A question for girls

i just wanted to ask why do girls wear makeup?:confused: i kno girls wanna look pretty and all that but if a guy likes you i mean really likes you for who you are then he would like the way you are and he wouldnt like it when a girl covers that beauty with make up. alot of girls who are teens were makeup because of zits and other things but thats the outside. you cant just like a girl by her looks you should like her because of who she is so girls i just wanna see why you wear make up?

I get what your saying, but unfortunatly. Teens get a lot of crap from zits and pimples, or whatever. Pure Pressure is one of the tings as well...Also for some girls it would be a boost in confidence. Or they may thinkits "Cool" :cool:

The reason I personally wear make-up, is because I like how I look in it. I don't care if anyone else scoffs at my zits, if I cover them it's due to my own preference. I'm not one of those girls who won't leave the house without my make-up on (in fact, my mom and I are known to go through the drive-thru at 1 in the afternoon in our pj's and slippers with no make-up *shrugs*), but I do like to wear it. It's fun for me, trying out different shades of eyeshadow and eyeliner, learning which brands I like best, all that. I try not to over-do it, but it's usually there if I'm dressed and out doing stuff.

Yeah, I'd chalk most of that up to insecurity. Plus, when you wear a lot of make-up fairly often, you feel like you look weird without it.

some girls wear it to cover lil bumps they get or they might just not like their skin tone or something like that!!! i do it just cuz im used 2 wearing it and to hide a bump once in a while!!!!!:D
