Girl friend and Girlfriend

So in gym class, the 8th graders always do a ballroom dancing unit which ends with this big dance that everyone dresses up for (it's actually really cool). Now at the dance there's a girl's choice dance and boy's choice dance; because my girlfriend is not in my grade, I asked my friend Allison for we're chill. Trouble is, I think she likes me romantically and because she's a good friend, I don't want to hurt her, but I also have a girlfriend. How do I let her down very softly?

Oh my that's a difficult one. Personally I think if she's really a good friend you should be able to ask her, I kmow I was relieved when I could tell my best friend I liked him even though I knew he had a girlfriend. Just try to ask her about it and take it from there is what I'd do.

If you two are really good friends, she should know you have a girlfriend. Just make that fact clear.

Enforce the fact with her that you have a girlfriend. Also, make sure your girlfriend knows, if she doesn't she could get pretty upset to find out later.

Just be honest with her. Talk a bit about your girlfriend when you're with her to remind her you're not single and you already love someone else.
