I have been thinking about texting my ex who I haven't spoken to in a couple months. I don't know if its the best thing to do because we haven't talked since we broke up. I was just going to say something simple like "Hey, just wondering how you've been" I don't know though, any thoughts?

Agree, unless you both ended on good terms and just want to remain friends for now I wouldn't. I've been in the same boat and I've seen it happen with a couple of friends to, it can get messy and miserable opening up communication lines with ur ex again!
