I've decided which As levels I'm going to be doing - history, politics an economics.
These are all subjects that interest me greatly, and would be good tor a careerin business.
I have one more slot and I don't know whether to do French or religious studies.
I enjoy French and am good at it - it's also good for a business career.

However I'm also quite interested in religious studies (it includes ethics and morals - it's sort of like philosophy as well). I haven't studied it before but it doesn't seem too hard. Also I feel like this will be my last chance to study it, whereas I could learn French by going to France for several months.

Hmmm
Idk

I myself would go for RS, because I love philosophy and actually wouldn't mind studying that, and you are right, philosophy courses aren't usually super challenging and demanding.

First thing you wanna look at is which you'd enjoy most. I think that weighs heaviest in the decision.

Second, as someone with French very near and dear to her heart, second language has loads of benefits. Course, second-language proficiency itself is good for business, but as well it shows a good deal of discipline and looks excellent on any resume even if French won't be used at all for the job. Language is also not only beneficial to your speaking skills, but also to your maths skills. It also works the other way. Are you good at maths? I've seen a lot of science and maths students do very well in French classes; it seems to often come easier to them.

I've never taken RS, but I'm sure it's very interesting. French is probably a much larger commitment than RS.

I'd do French, it's harder later in life to learn languages and it's a skill not everyone has. RS is a great subject though and broadens your mind and gives you other skills in writing, analysis and interpretation, but it's nothing you can't learn yourself I guess. Do what you feel is right, and good luck! :)
