I'm 15 and a sophomore in high school

I've always disliked school, i would be board to tears most of the time (except for a few teacher's classes). But recently my grades have been slipping. I've never had to try to hard to get As (excluding english, I work my butt of in there, dyslexic...). I would just pay attention during class due the homework and that was that. But i can't seem to focus anymore. It's shouldn't be hard so hard to pay attention. I've always tested high (IQ ~137, ACT >32 etc) and wanted to go to MIT for a long time, but i might be ruining my chances with a potentially low GPA.

Any thoughts?

Could be attention deficit disorder.

Hmm, can that start in teen year?

Mmm I think I might get what you mean. I used to just be fine with paying attention and doing homework, but I mean, maybe the problem isn't as bad as you think :) I think you just finally hit the point where you actually have to study some.

ive never been good in school im happy getting 70s but i dont work hard at school. I love working on stuff with my hands and always excel in building engines and things like that so if you are better at things like that and just dont like school cause its boring then its all cool

Wow. That sucks.

How much sleep are you getting? That can make a big difference.
