View Full Version : Lasting damage on finger joint

A long time ago, so long I can't even remember, 1 year perhaps more, I damaged the first joint (the one after the knuce) of my left index finger. I tin it was a cut or something similar.
Since then it hasn't healed. It has turned into a sort of lump a lot more drier than the other joints, and it's a bit red as well. You know how on your joints there are little lines from where it bends - those aren't there, this thing has got rid of them.
It's hard to describe it to you, perhaps I will upload a picture tomorrow.
It's not serious it's just a cosmetic thing that irritates me a bit.

It doesn't hurt but it is more sensitive than the other joints. Pics:

That looks like a scar. I've had plenty of those from working with animals and horses. They take a long time to go away and look like that. I actually have one now lol. Sometimes when it's done it will leave a white scar that you can barely see. Goes away on its own in 6 mo to a year.
