I just started college this year and my roommate is guy. We spend a lot of time together just talking and being weird. About one week ago we decided to go to party at like one of the sororities (Kappa Delta). We got kind of drunk and when we got back to our dorm we started kissing and eventually had sex. I think he likes me but im not ready for a relationship. How do I tell him I don't want a relationship without coming on harshly?

It's always best to be honest, just tell him that you don't want to be in a relationship. If you're going to be roommates all through college it's better to get that sorted right from the start.

Just say you don't want to be in a commuted relationship right now. He will understand, and since you're im college I doubt he would take it as a big deal.

Well, there is no other way really than to just come out with it honestly. It's best to do it sooner rather than later, so he doesn't get his hopes up at a possible relationship. Tell him, you'd rather have his friendship and don't want it to proceed any further. But, you don't actually know that he likes you so that could be awkward too. Honesty is the policy and get straight to the point rather than beating around the bush.
