Are you all that ignorant to what he did and what he truly was?

Apparently they are. I suggest everyone read this article (http://freedomoutpost.com/2013/12/nelson-mandela-media-fawns-though-marxist-terrorist/) and you'll actually see evidence of who Mandela really was: a terrorist, plain and simple. He wasn't a great, peace loving man. He was not this innocent old man looking for world acceptance for all. He was very VERY much a violence-endorsing man.

RIP Tata Madiba!! I had the honour and privilege to meet him once, he was one of the greatest people alive!! Here in South Africa everyone is mourning our great loss!! It is true, he was a 'terrorist' once, but his 27 years improsiment changed him forever!! He was a great man!! It is just so sorry that SA is changing back to its own corrupt self, with a crazy, stupid and insane president. I just hope Apartheid doesn't get reversed, as it is on its way to!

Way to kill the vibe. I don't know about that, something about that article rubs me the wrong way. Even if its true I think South Africa did actually end up better then it was, so there's that?

R.I.P. either way.

In my opinion, this article just proves we are all complex beings capable of evolving and promoting positive change at any point in our life no matter our past or present circumstance.

I fully agree. I am at the FNB stadium now, at his memorial service. About 90 heads of state are present.

Nelson Mandela was a great man. He is one of the most important men in the history of the world. May god bless his soul. It is a great thing to honor him, as we did with a moment of silence at school, but what made me mad was that JFK was not mentioned on the anniversary of his horrific death (not even a moment of silence). I don't understand why JFK, a man almost as influential as Nelson Mandela, can be completely be ignored by my school.
