Hi
So a boy who I'm friends with asked me out today (he came up to me at lunch and said he think I'm a good friend and he's in love with me and wants to be my boyfriend). And I don't know what to say to him!
I'm bi and although I like boys have always imagined a relationship with a girl.
On the other hand I've know this boy since we were like 9 (now 16) and he's got the best ever personality and is actually quite cute.
Therefore I don't know what I should do:
If I say no and wait for a relationship with a girl I might regret it and also it might jepodise our friendship.
If I say yes I'm sure I'll love our relationship but might always regret not knowing what could have been!
Please Help?!
Thanks advance for any help you ca give.

Well, you say you like him/find him cute. But don't want to jepodise your friendship. This is almost like me with the girl I like, I'm scared to do anything just incase I lose my friendship with her I already have. If you like him, explain how you don't want to affect your friendship but you like him and want to be in a relationship with him. If he understands and is fine with it, then what might happen is you might enter the relationship, if it ends your friendship should still continue (again if you explain and he understands).

This seems like a shitty answer but just go with your gut.

Go for it! You can always break up. Getting into one relationship doesn't mean you're going to be stuck with them for life.

There are bi guys who hook up until a gf comes along.
Guess it depends on how long term he wants it.

I would say go for it. You're just going out with him anyways, but if you don't live him, it's proabably better if you don't get too involved. Be his boyfriend only if you have feelings for him, or you'll might regret it later, just like you said.

Exactly this. You are not stuck with him for life. If you don't want to be tied down, tell him you want to just date for now, until you know if you really want a relationship with him.

Thanks for all the help. . I've spoke to him and told him I like him but think I'm not ready for a relationship yet. And that I'd still like to be friends with him.
